"I am proud to be part of the VF community; and the entire world of Orbis."

Support VF (Volunteer Faculty): Dr. Yasser Khan

As an Orbis VF, Dr. Yasser Khan visited Mongolia in 2014 and Vietnam in 2015. He will travel to Cameroon in October 2017 with the Flying Eye Hospital.

Dr. Khan is the only Canadian to deliver lectures over Cyber-sight, Orbis’s telemedicine platform. Since 2003 Orbis has been employing technology and the Internet to bring doctors and eye care professionals together through Cyber-Sight for training, building of local capacity; and benefiting patients across the globe. This web-based telemedicine initiative extends and expands the presence of Orbis International and its volunteer faculty worldwide, fighting blindness with online clinical support and education provided through #-Resources, E-Learning and E-Consultation.

We've accomplished great things together – but there's still more to do.

You can help by making a donation to support our work – and you can spread the word and build awareness on social media!

Remember – It only takes $50 to save the sight of an adult and $100 to restore sight of a child!
