Support VF (Volunteer Faculty): Dr. Matthew Bujak

Dr. Matthew Bujak is a double board-certified ophthalmologist practicing in the Greater Toronto Area. He has developed a practice specializing in corneal disease and cataract surgery. He performs all forms of corneal transplants from traditional full thickness corneal transplants to the newest laser assisted lamellar corneal transplants.

He currently holds the title of Assistant Professor at University of Toronto and operates out of St. Michael’s Hospital, St.Joseph's Hospital and Kensington Eye Institute. He received a University-wide Humanitarian award for his dedication to patient care.

Dr.Bujak typically participates in 2 to 3 international volunteer missions a year and to date has operated in 10 countries worldwide. Participating in both Hospital-Based Programs and the Flying Eye Hospital Dr. Matthew Bujak travelled to Ethiopia in 2007; Nepal in 2015 and Uganda in 2016.
