World Sight Day 2018 - World Sight Day 2018
Patrick Lamy

1 Trip. 1 Country. Countless Lives Impacted.

"I volunteer with Orbis as I am committed to making a difference in the world; the work Orbis is doing worldwide is admirable and it’s easy to want to be part of it."

Support VF (Volunteer Faculty): Patrick Lamy

On World Sight Day we celebrate and honour our Canadian VFs (Voluntary Faculty); doctors, nurses and technicians who have given so much of themselves to the work of Orbis over the years. They have travelled all around the world, sharing their time and expertise to build capacity in economically challenged countries. Through this gift, successful eye care programs have been built and the children and adults who previously faced a world of darkness now have hope.

We've accomplished great things together – but there's still more to do.

You can help by making a donation to support our work – and you can spread the word and build awareness on social media!

Remember – It only takes $50 to save the sight of an adult and $100 to restore sight of a child!
