World Sight Day 2018 - World Sight Day 2018
Dr. Peter Kertes

10 Trips. 7 Countries. Countless Lives Impacted.

"I am proud to be affiiliated with the remarkable organization that Orbis is. And in particular, to work with the group of immensely talented VFs from around the world"

Support VF (Volunteer Faculty): Dr. Peter Kertes

On World Sight Day we celebrate and honour our Canadian VFs (Voluntary Faculty); doctors, nurses and technicians who have given so much of themselves to the work of Orbis over the years. They have travelled all around the world, sharing their time and expertise to build capacity in economically challenged countries. Through this gift, successful eye care programs have been built and the children and adults who previously faced a world of darkness now have hope.

We've accomplished great things together – but there's still more to do.

You can help by making a donation to support our work – and you can spread the word and build awareness on social media!

Remember – It only takes $50 to save the sight of an adult and $100 to restore the sight of a child!
