Dr. Garth Taylor was a brilliant, humble, outspoken, kind-hearted, and generous ophthalmologist and humanitarian.

Dr. Taylor completed 111 trips with Orbis, with over 1000 eye operations in 60 countries.

He trained many doctors and surgeons in cornea, cataract and refractive procedures, including the treatment of ocular parasites in more than 40 countries.

Dr. Taylor is a Canadian treasure who will be forever remembered.

We've accomplished great things together – but there's still more to do.
